Job Description

Exciting Opportunity!!  We partner with a local mattress manufacturer to identify top talent for their permanent need. This position is day shift, Monday-Friday. Pay ranges from $13.50/hr. could increase $14-$18 Overtime as necessary. Specific departments include:

  • Tape Edging: Operating the tape edge machine to join mattress panel to border. Inspect, clean and trim threads.
  •  Matt Build: Work in two people team, pad and cover innerspring assembly to form mattress. Spread padding over sides of innerspring and attach layers of insulation materials by using a hog ring gun. Glue pillow top panels to inner panels.
  • Unit Build: Work in a three person cell, use computerized welding equipment to assemble side and bottomed material for innerspring unit.
  •  Upholstery: Upholsters bedspring units
  •  Quilting. Monitor sewing machines, materials used to make quilted panels or borders.

    Job RequirementsYou can expect to operate and monitor the production line, removing or shifting materials and/or finished product as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation. You will ensure package and product quality as the product flows on the line.
