Job Description
We are currently seeking a Group Marketing Manager, Customer Acquisition at our Stamford, Conn Headquarters.The Direct business is in the midst of an unprecedented transformation to improve relevance among target consumers and grow its customer base. Game-changing initiatives include the: • Implementation of new service enhancements • Introduction of an expansive healthy hydration portfolio • Evolution of our engagement vehicles and media mix • Introduction of a new service brand, effectively rebranding the service The Group Marketing Manager, Customer Acquisition will play a pivotal role in this transformation and will be responsible for managing the strategic and tactical acquisition marketing implications of the changes outlined above. This person should draw upon knowledge of product development as well as solid understanding of direct marketing, branding and brand development, positioning, marketing communications, and ROI-based metrics. The ideal candidate will leverage this improvement to penetrate new markets and grow the Residential and Commercial customer base. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Incorporate new brand identity, new positioning, and service enhancements across all prospect touch points. • Oversee implementation of viable Business-to-Business marketing solution, including overall strategy, media, creative and engagement development • Oversee online acquisition initiatives including robust Paid Search programming, Organic Search, Pay-for-Performance Display and Affiliate advertising channels, and expansion into new channels including partnerships with online retailers, etc. • Balance brand-building, awareness and consideration initiatives with direct response results to deliver volume commitments. • Elevate existing creative by executing compelling, benefits-driven creative strategy to reinforce premium nature of the service. • Develop and manage the overall customer acquisition strategy and associated tactical plans. • Oversee and manage robust prospect targeting strategy. Identify optimal list procurement strategy and lead development of prospect targeting models. • Drive ongoing optimization and relevance of the online and call center conversion channels. • Identify and assess deployment of new offers and channels to improve relevance, increase response rates, and expand market penetration. • Partner with Brand Teams to establish Direct as the direct-to-consumer solution for these brands • Negotiate, manage, and cultivate 3 – 4 agency relationships. • Lead team of 3 marketers
Job Requirements
Key qualifications include: • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred • 10 years marketing experience in a direct-to-consumer business; specific experience in customer acquisition • Experience balancing brand-building, awareness and consideration initiatives with direct response results • Experience with marketing CPG brands and /or premium goods and services • Experience planning, executing and tracking the results of large-scale and complex direct response campaigns • Strong experience with both online (including social media and display advertising) and offline direct-response marketing (including direct mail) is required • Success developing, coordinating, managing and optimizing e-commerce web sites • Experience designing and managing budgets for large-scale and complex marketing campaigns, and a proven track record of achieving successful results, while adhering to the budget • Strong agency management experience • Significant experience managing a team of at least 3 professionals PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS • Strategic thinker with ability to influence transformational change across the organization Strong written, oral, and presentation skills are required • Strong consumer intuition • Ability cultivate strong relationships and work well cross-functionally • Strong analytical, problem-solving and judgment skills. Be able to understand multiple data sources • Willingness to be hands-on and to work cross-functionally • Consistently organized with attention to detail • Must fit into Nestle Waters culture; able to work in low bureaucratic/political environment, outside the box thinker, sense of humility, flexible, adaptable to changing conditions, and be an excellent team player. • Must meet NWNA value guidelines.
