RN- Intensive Care Unit

**Includes working e/o weekend & rotating holidays; 8 hr shifts primarily on weekends.** 

Provides patient- and family-centered care through The Compass: St. Cloud Hospital’s Nursing Professional Practice Model to achieve the hospital mission of improving the health and quality of life that reflects the healing mission of Jesus. Age appropriate care is provided to patients and families. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards for a superior patient experience. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.

 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.  Baccalaureate or Masters in Nursing preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of nursing standards, policies, procedures, and ethics required.  Previous experience in nursing preferred. 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation. 

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required (with the exception of casual staff) or obtained within 36 months; required prior to obtaining code blue competency if hired after 7/1/2012.

Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
