Position:  Territory Sales Rep


JOB SUMMARY:  
We are looking for a highly motivated sales person to manage our dealer relationships in the local area. This position needs to execute and drive a comprehensive business plan for distributor accounts that will result in delivery of sales and profit growth of existing and new products.

Responsibilities for this position include:  driving brand awareness with local dealers and distributors of  our products, building relationships by performing sales calls and site visits with distributor reps, and preparing detailed equipment quotations to meet customer specifications.

You will work from your home office and must be located in the territory. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrates the ability to penetrate accounts, distributor sales teams to achieve maximum results on sales objectives.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for the business.
  • Excellent presentation and persuasion skills.
  • Finely tuned negotiation skills
  • Excellent math and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency of documentation and approvals processes.
  • Forecasting accuracy.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with a CRM or Salesforce.com is a plus
  • Ability to provide insights to buying trends within account base
  • Job Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelors Degree preferred, but not required; concentration in business or related field preferred.
    • 2+ years outside Sales experience in Business to Business sales is required.
    • Strong track record of quota delivery.
    • Experience being an active and high performing member of a team.
    • Good customer and cross functional interface capabilities.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to develop new businesses and new customers. Strong “closing" skills.
    • Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 30lbs
    • Travel up to 50% at times


    Compensation:
    Base pay rate is $60,000 – 70,000 per year plus up to 20% bonus.  You will be provided with reasonable expenses, $700-1000 car allowance, a lap top computer, tablet and a company cell phone.  A comprehensive benefits plan is also provided.
