Job Description

Our client is searching for a PLC Electrician and maintenance technician.  The selected candidate will work independently to perform maintenance, repair, and modifications to the company’s computer driven control systems. Applicants must know systems such as Allen Bradley and Siemens.  Minimum 90 days with no end date. Electrician/ Maintenance tech pay range depending on skill and experience is $17- $18+/ hr. and $13- $15/ hr.

Responsibilities or duties of the position:

  • Day to day trouble shooting. Repair and installation of low- high voltage industrial electromechanical and control systems made for utility and production.
  • Create parts list and determine best routes for conduit runs and wiring in accordance with the company’s codes and standards. This includes building electrical and machine electrical panels.
  • Be able to obtain back up PLC programs from a server to reload and reboot PLC programs and restore faulted equipment.

    Requirements for the position:

    • Be able to read, interpret, and modify electrical systems using schematics. 
    • Experience in writing, programming and trouble shooting PLC’s.
    • Support and follow Lock out/ Tag out programs.
