Job Description


 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform ice plant startups and shutdowns.
  • Must be very safety conscious.
    Able to work with minimal supervision on an 8 hour rotating shift schedule.
  • Safe operation of a 350 TPD liquid CO2 plant and 50 TPD ice plant.
  • Meets or exceeds the company’s safety goals, standards and policies
  • Fully supports, accurately completes, and maintains Health, Safety, and Environmental policies & procedures and relevant documentation at the facility.

    • Job Requirements
    • Learn and comply with Plant safety rules, regulations, and company safety policies & procedures.
    • Must be safety minded and modeling good safety practices.
    • Works safely in all situations.
    • Must be able to learn and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Must be able to lift 55 lb blocks of CO2 ice continuously on an 8 hour shift.


    Education and Experience
    • Demonstrates ability to communicate with both written and spoken English and Math at the 12th grade level
    • Exhibits mechanical ability
    • Related warehouse operations experience a plus.

     
    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to safely handle, to lift and otherwise physically manage a 60lbs dry ice block for the assigned work schedule (typically 8 hour to 10 hours)
    • Must be able to wear required safety equipment including, hardhat, safety glasses, ear protection, safety shoes/boots (metatarsal), and FRC clothing
