Our associates are offered the opportunity to make a difference - for themselves, their families, and for the world in which we all live.   As the Application Architect, you will be responsible for continuous Improvement in effectiveness and efficiency of division business systems through formal and informal consultation, education, promotion, and governance to influence application designs and system landscapes.   Responsibilities: Actively participate as full-time member of Enterprise Architecture core team and as Application Architecture subject matter expert thereon; Within overall Enterprise Architecture program, formally establish and develop Application Architecture as a recognized discipline and organizational capability, including documented policies, principles and standards for guiding solution design and development activities. Establish and maintain reusable patterns, guidelines, and templates for building and integrating applications. Chair and facilitate formal application design sessions (AARC – Application Architecture Review Committee). Provide advice to IT and business management technologies and practices related to Application Architecture, including proactive communication on new or changing risks and opportunities. Participate on Project Teams as or in support of Solution Architect role to ensure that Enterprise Architecture principles and standards  are promulgated and leveraged;
Job RequirementsMinimum Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with specialization in an appropriate functional or technical field Minimum Experience Requirements:  10 years related experience Our generous benefits package includes the Novartis Investment Savings 401(k) Plan which provides a company contribution of up to 6%.
