Job Description
The Global Sales Team currently has an immediate opening for an Manager, DCCS Sales, Strategic Accounts in a virtual office in Raleigh, NC -or- Dallas, TX. POSITION SUMMARY: Executes the complete sales cycle for strategic accounts at the corporate account level, from generating sales leads, qualifying and coordinating sales activities and required resources for solution development, to negotiating and closing. JOB DUTIES:
Manages the on-going account relationships, up to and including executive management. Assesses key decision-makers needs and develops a plan of action to meet customer needs with CommScope's DCCS products and services. Maintains account presence by providing value-added services and maintaining professional relationships with key customer personnel.
Understands customer’s business, technology and product requirements and appropriately matches DCCS solutions to meet customer needs. Demonstrates significant expertise in all DCCS products and solutions. Responsible for achieving Approved Product List (APL) status within the assigned account.
Develops the strategic account plans for named accounts
Responsible for achieving financial objectives within the assigned accounts.
Supports the named accounts' regions with CommScope's DCCS solutions. Participates in territory deployments as the customers need.
Reviews revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, project planning with the regions for their named account. Provides information and reports, as required, to inform management of sales progress and success.
Supports the One CommScope Initiative by Collaborating with sales counterparts on the other Wireless, Broadband and Enterprise businesses to drive incremental revenue in the account.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A completed Bachelor's Degree AND- 2-5 years of Sales or related experience.
Ability to demonstrate the following skills:
Skilled at building client relationships.
Experience with positioning solutions sales and negotiating/closing strategic sales opportunities.
Superior professional presence and business acumen.
Well-developed interpersonal skills enabling teamwork and clear communication.
Competent in using computer applications.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
