Job Description

We have comfortable work spaces, casual dress code, free slushies/ice cream/popcorn and friendly employees!  We are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Associate to join our growing, high energy Finance team. The primary focus of the Finance Department is to manage the accounting, auditing, and budget functions, as well as to manage the long-term investment strategy for the company. This position pays an hourly rate with opportunity for overtime pay. Responsibilities to Include: 

  • Post daily cash clearing entries for checking accounts and credit cards
  • Monitor, record, and communicate ACH returns to key managers
  • Process Risk and Collection Department ACH debits
  • Process recovery transactions
  • Process, record, and reconcile Credit Card payments
  • Maintain Accounts Receivable aging reports and assist in monthly reconciliations
  • Reconcile cash for multiple accounts
  • Assist with credit card settlement processes and reconciliations
  • Process refunds
  • Handle ad doc duties as requested by management

    Job Requirements

    Education Requirements: Bachelors or Associates degree in Finance or Accounting preferred or or equivalent work experience

    Position Requirements:

    • Minimum two years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable required
    • Strong mathematical skills
    • Excellent computer skills, including strong Excel skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
    • Prioritizes projects and responsibilities
    • Ability to manage time, expectations, and deliverables
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Attention to detail and accuracy oriented
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred
