Seeking All Outstanding Certified Nurse Assistants (C.N.A.)  South County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is dedicated to providing excellence in a JACHO, long-term / short term care and rehabilitaion facility.   We are seeking talented individuals to provide direct nursing care and perform day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility. As an important member of the Interdisciplinary Team, you will be guided by the Director of Nursing Services, and Charge Nurse assigned to your area. Working together we will ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Job Functions (include but are not limited to)

- Obtain records and report vital signs and any other pertinent patient information to your Charge Nurse

-Provide patient care in accordance to patient care directives and as directed. - Maintain and clean exam/treatment areas and medical equipment. - Maintain logs, records of medical procedures, and inventories of supplies. - Look for opportunities to go above and beyond to delight our residents, etc.

    Job Requirements- Must have an active Rhode Island Certified Nursing Assistant License (C.N.A.) in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state certification requirements. - Must speak and understand English. - Successfully pass our Physical and Drug Screen pre-employment tests. - Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care. - Must have a positive attitude and be compassionate toward the elderly and ill. -Minimum of one year of experience in long term care.
