Job Description

Manage technical projects that are large in scope and complexity that may cross department boundaries within the company.  Guide project team(s) from original concept through completion by organizing the team, assigning responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources, developing schedules and meeting deadlines.

Oversee the day-to-day progress of project(s) and release initiatives with regard to time, budget, scope and quality.  Act as champion of change and facilitate the change management process to ensure project success.

Provide leadership, direction and integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support.

Participate in strategic business discussions and planning to research, assess and define the best technology solution that meets the business needs and conforms to architectural standards.

Keep up-to-date on latest technology solutions and project management methodologies and practices to effectively solve business challenges and establish best practices.

Develop quantitative and qualitative project success measures that are understood by project stakeholders and utilized to ensure quality project results are delivered.

Support the Director of Development with program status reporting, monitoring and overall estimation of time and effort.

 

Job Requirements

  • 4-6 years performing the IT project management role.
  • Agile and Scrum experience.
  • Demonstrated up-to-date knowledge in PM processes and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success managing large projects in a cross functional environment.
  • Pro-active and solution-oriented.
  • Excellent communications and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to communicate needs and schedules to business stakeholders and technology teams, as well as ensure plans are in place/standards are adhered to.
