Job Description

The Mergis Group is seeking bright, self-motivated individuals with mortgage expereince.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Updating loan status
  • Taking mortgage applications
  • File caseload management including documentation retrieval and review, decision recommendation, and coordination of the loan closing.
  • Evaluate the loan file documentation to determine if a loan should be approved or denied. 
  • Risk assessment for both lender and investor. 
  • Review of appraisals, qualifying ratios, loan file docs, tax returns, etc
    • Job Requirements
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication phone skills
    •  Mortgage experience a plus
    • Ability to perform multiple responsibilities through effective prioritization and time management
    • Ability to develop/maintain professional relationships with clients, customers and co-workers
    • Advanced PC skills
