Job Description

Responsibilities:

Provides intake procedures including screening and evaluating client’s needs, developing treatment plans, clinical diagnosis referring clients to appropriate program

Prepares, plans facilitates, and implements direct care of clients through groups and individual supportive therapy and services.

Assesses client’s skill level for appropriate placement in groups; handles clients from various program areas.

Participates in disposition/treatment team meetings providing information is pertinent to the team treatment of the client.

Prepares required paperwork in accurate and timely manner.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience:

Relevant Master’s Degree and appropriate licensure or under supervision for licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
One year related experience working in Mental Health field
Strong oral and written communication skills.
General skill in exercising independent judgment, tact, patience, and understanding; maintaining effective working relationships with clients, other staff, and the community.
Computer skills.
