Job Description Manna Pro is a leading manufacturer and marketer of specialty animal nutrition and care products, with corporate offices located in Chesterfield, Mo.  Over the past two years, Manna Pro has acquired four Pet brands in the Dog/Cat Grooming and Health & Wellness space and is seeking a Brand Manager to join its growing Pet Marketing Team.

Working with the Director of Pet Marketing, the Brand Manager’s primary responsibilities are to develop branding building and brand activation plans leading all aspects of new product development, packaging, content development, digital and social marketing and consumer promotion.  This person will manage the current product portfolio to maximize sales and profits, identify and capitalize on short and long-term business opportunities, develop and execute marketing plans, identify and launch new products and develop, execute and track programs and promotions.  The Brand Manager works in partnership with Sales and leads cross functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.  This position will report to the Director of Marketing - Pet.

Job RequirementsTo be successful in this role, the Brand Manager must:

• Be fully competent in all aspects of brand activation including developing and executing annual marketing and media plans with specific expertise in digital marketing, social media, print, and content development.

• Have experience leading the comprehensive new product development process including concept development, consumer research, opportunity scoping, product commercialization, package design, trade launch and consumer launch.

• Lead analysis of shipment and secondary data to make business recommendations that reach brand objectives.

• Manage the Marketing budget

• Work collaboratively with the sales team to translate brand strategies to distribution and merchandising strategies across channels.

• Develop relationships with Sales, R&D, Regulatory and finance

• Maintain a strong pulse on marketplace dynamics in the pet arena including industry and category trends, product assortment, new product trends in ingredients, technology, etc., pricing, promotions and identifies risks and opportunities and articulates conclusions and recommendations to management as appropriate.

The perfect fit for this position is someone who has:

• Undergraduate degree in business and 3+ years of consumer marketing experience required. MBA preferred.

• Experience in the pet care industry preferred

• Experience with new product development

• Experience managing and leading cross-functional teams

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment juggling multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously

• Strong analytical skills

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
