Location: Portland

Hours: On-Call (as needed)

Schedule: Variable days of the week and hours

Job Summary:

Shriners Hospital for Children – Portland is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a on-call position. The successful candidate is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of family-centered care to patients and family. This position provides the highest possible level of comprehensive care to the Outpatient Clinic.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience in a pediatric setting
  • Experience working in an Outpatient Clinic is preferred
  • Orthopedic experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required or must be able to obtain BSN within 2 years of hire
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Oregon
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer and EMR skills
