Customer Accounts Manager

We are seeking high-energy level individuals who are interested in career advancement. Collections experience would be a plus, however we are willing to train the right individual. Successful candidate will support all areas of the business including renewing customer agreements, assist in all aspects of the collections process, and convert prospects into customers through one-on-one interaction.  Telephone and field contact are daily activities for this position.  Your communication skills will be critically important as you will have constant contact with our customers.  This position is a training ground for future general managers.

Reporting:

Reports directly to the General Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Immediate contact of all customers who have not renewed their lease agreement(s)
  • Maintain updated accurate customer information
  • Help support the overall needs of the store by assisting other associates and acting as key holder in the General Manager’s absence
  • Monitor customer payment history and habits and make recommendations to support the customer to ownership
  • Collect money and obtain customer signatures on lease agreements
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

  • Position routinely requires lifting, loading and “dollying” merchandise 50-300 pounds

    All Customer Accounts Managers must have a satisfactory MVR (driving record), D.O.T. physical/certification in states that require it, a valid Driver’s License and comply with the Aaron’s Driver Qualification Policy.  All Customer Account Managers must pass a drug screening and criminal background investigation.  A job performance reference check is also required.
