Are you currently receiving unemployment benefits? Maybe you are looking at a career transition and are between jobs? Do you have experience working in the Information Technology (IT) industry?
If the answer is yes, then read on because this program is designed specifically for you. It is possible that you may be eligible for a TRAINING GRANT.
Employers right now have the ability to look for the “perfect candidate" when hiring. If you lack computer skills of any kind, you will not be able to compete against other job seekers. You must seize the moment and turn this disadvantage into your advantage.
The Workforce Investment Act is designed to provide quality employment training services to assist eligible individuals in finding and qualifying for meaningful employment, and to help employers find the skilled workers they need to compete and succeed in business. The goals of this funding are simple. WIA funding looks to increase employment, to increase retention in unsubsidized employment six months after entry into employment, to increase earnings received in unsubsidized employment for dislocated workers, and to enhance customer satisfaction for participants and employers.
If you are unemployed, underemployed, and/or are currently receiving unemployment compensation, then you may be eligible for a TRAINING GRANT. At the very least, you would add another skill to your marketability and enhance your resume and job seeking skills. We have programs that are already approved through WorkOne and the State of Indiana.
Requirements
This is simple. Please send us your resume and a representative will contact you by phone. During the phone call, we will do a quick assessment to get a better idea if you would be a good candidate for the TRAINING GRANT. If you are interested in moving forward, we will set up a time for you to visit our facility and give you the rest of the information.
The phone call will last about 5 minutes.
The visit to our facility will last about 30 to 45 minutes.
