Job Description Solutions Development Manager Topeka, Kansas ISG Technology, Inc. is looking for a Solutions Development Manager in its Topeka location.  ISG offers a fast-paced, diverse technical environment, and an opportunity for continuous learning.  ISG is engaged with the industry leading providers of enterprise solutions from companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Citrix, NetApp, and many others.  This “best-of-breed" solution approach is what makes ISG unique in its ability to provide a breadth of solutions to meet our clients’ needs. Responsibilities Work with existing and new salespeople to drive sales of higher end and cloud services solutions Attend and participate in pre-sales meetings with sales team Design and architect solutions-- developing proposals, Statements of Works, service delivery proposals and other necessary service documentation Oversee overall project management for the area, working with the Project Manager and/or Service Coordinator, handling projects directly as needed Manage and monitor departmental resources, resolving scheduling conflicts and customer satisfaction issues as necessary Facilitate resolution of technical problems on all supported products Perform billable installation and support services as necessary—bringing another engineer along for training/shadowing Maintain an advanced knowledge in products and services provided by ISG, participating in available training as deemed necessary Work with Region/Local Management to provide strategic vision and help build focused solutions areas within the service department Work with engineers and Service Manager/Coordinator to develop training/career path for engineers and coordinate proper certifications for necessary authorizations Work with Region/Local Management to develop, implement and monitor technical support policies and procedures Work with MSBU to ensure efficient processes and communication between branch and MSBU on reoccurring service opportunities Provide recommendations for better efficiencies within service delivery Develop positive reinforcement and team building strategies within the service department Research, develop and implement new technology solutions or areas coordinating necessary training, education of sales team, marketing/sales delivery and deployment Ensure department staff meets standards of utilization and billable hours Respond to after hour requests for client support  
Job Requirements Current expert knowledge of products and services specific to virtualization and storage Technical Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience Travel to client sites may be required; must possess valid driver’s license, and driving record must meet the criteria of ISG’s insurance carrier for acceptance of coverage A competitive salary, bonus plan and full benefits await the candidate who can bring their experience and dedication to our team.
