Job Description     Outside Sales Representative  
POSITION SUMMARY:
Pep Boys is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to expand our Commercial business in the Chattanooga and Knoxville areas.  The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving existing business relationships, developing new commercial partnerships and effectively working with the retail, service and commercial teams in approximately 5-7 PBY locations.  The Outside Sales Representative is expected to establish a minimum of 10 focus accounts and a minimum of 24 new quality accounts each year for each PBY location within an assigned area. The Outside Sales Representative is required to report to the scheduled store each day of the week. Discuss sales opportunities and current account support and new account opportunities with CSM and RM.

  • Job RequirementsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

     

    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret retail business reports, professional and/or technical journals, time reports, operational reports, government regulations, merchandising reports, plan-o-gram (merchandising) instructions or technical procedures.
    • Must be able to collect data or facts and draw valid and accurate conclusions. 

    • Practical mathematical skills
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

    MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

    • High School Diploma
    • 1-3 years of proven wholesale/commercial auto parts sales experience is preferred.
