Job Description AAA Mid-Atlantic Auto Glass LLC is looking for Auto Glass Technicians  

  • Attend to AAA calls, relating to windshield replacement.
  • Ensure you personal presentation (Uniform) is warn at all times while you are representing AAA Mid-Atlantic Auto Glass LLC.
  • Discuss service options with members, and inform customer of the benefits of the windshield replacement service
  • Install precut replacement glass to replace curved or custom-shaped windows.
  • Remove broken or damaged glass windshield or window-glass from motor vehicles, using hand tools to remove screws from frame holding glass.
  • Apply moisture-proofing compound along glass edges and installs glass into windshield-or glass- frame in door or side panel of vehicle.
  • Install rubber-channeling strip around edge of glass or frame to weather-proof or to prevent rattling.
  • Cut flat safety glass according to specified pattern, using glass-cutter.
  • Hold cut or uneven edge of glass against automated abrasive belt to shape or smooth edges.
  • Obtain windshield for specific automobile make and model from stock and examines for defects prior to installation.
  • Replace or adjusts motorized or manual window-raising mechanisms.
  • Manage response times
  • Record sales, monies and credit card transactions
    • Job Requirements

     

    • High School or equivalent and 3 years of experience with installation of automotive windshields.
    • NGA certification or equivalent preferred
    • Working knowledge of MS office suite (Word, Excel) and the internet
    • Good driving record
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to focus
    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
    • Strong troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
    • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with external customers
    • Willingness and ability to work non-standard business hours, such as nights, weekends and public holidays
    • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
    • Willingness to work outdoors, in a warehouse environment and in inclement weather
    • Background Check and MVR will be conducted
