• To guarantee uninterrupted and efficient plant operations.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Maintenance planning and the execution of cross-departmental activities by defining the actions resources and time frame required to achieve the established objectives
2. Review and approve work requests, set priorities and schedule work
3. Implement and maintain preventative maintenance program
4. Communicate and standardize work with other facilities within business group
5. Request supplies and control maintenance budget
6. Direct repairs and maintenance work
7. To control the application of safety and health policies, measure, detect variances and take appropriate corrective measure
Technical Competencies:
1. Complete understanding of how equipment operates mechanically, including motors, gearboxes, augers, mixers, and other process equipment related to the ethanol industry
2. Understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance systems
3. Budgetary control
4. Computer systems, including Microsoft Office, company specific programs, and computerized maintenance management systems
5. Welding
6. Fundamental electrical concepts, including operations, maintenance and repair
7. Fundamental engineering concepts, specific to ethanol facilities and mechanical installations
8. Process control including soft and hardware configuration and maintenance
9. Fluid dynamics and control related to ethanol industry
10. Maintenance Planning Skills
Education and Experience Required
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
