Job Description DELIVERY ROUTE DRIVER Position Title: DELIVERY ROUTE DRIVER

Location: CONNECTICUT DISTRIBUTORS INC.

Department: DISTRIBUTION

Reports To: DISTRIBUTION MANAGER

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Approved By: LINDA BOLEKY                                   SUMMARY                                Drives truck over established route to deliver products to customers and makes changes by performing the following duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.                                 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or general education degree (GED);or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

                                          

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

                                  MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

                                REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

                                  CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Commercial Driver License, and a clean MVR report.

                                      OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Driving, reading road signs, maps, logos on cases and invoices.
