Job Description

Sr.Business Development Executive IT/Telecom Staffing will be responsible for development of new and for maintenance of existing relationships with IT/telecommunications clients in the Philly, New York and New Jersey areas which involves ensuring delivery team (recruitment, etc.) is trained on account requirements and managing all areas related to client business base. Post is full-time and remote-from home in either Philly, New York or New Jersey and offers. Company is headquartered in San Diego, CA. Regional travel to client sites and to headquarters as needed is required.

Pay is excellent and includes excellent base salary plus commission, bonuses and full benefits.   Core Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Sell IT/telecom staffing services, including contract and direct hires (perm), to existing and to new clients through new and existing pipeline of contacts.
  • Regional travel to and from clients in Philly, NY and NJ area and to headquarters as needed.
  • Meet established KPIs including new business and sales target goals, etc. 
  • Manage relationships with customers and with hiring managers, including executives (C-level).
  • Protect and grow revenue and gross profit.
  • Expand revenue opportunities within existing customers and open new accounts.
  • Identify potential new business opportunities and markets through outside sales activities.
  • Meet/exceed business and sales goals by negotiating and closing deals and by other activities.
  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Develop and recommend pricing strategy to produce highest possible long-term market share.
  • Monitor competitor methods, sales and marketing activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and with key strategic partners.
  • Respond in a timely manner to RFPs and to RFIs.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings and at industry functions to promote services.
  • Review/analyze sales performances against programs/quotes/plans to determine effectiveness.
  • Present candidates to clients and manage the follow-up of feedback, interviews, offers, etc.
  • Assist recruitment in development of a network candidates for submittal to clients
  • Develop job requirements, along with hiring managers, for client positions.
  • Work with recruitment to ensure openings are sourced quickly, accurately and with results.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

      

    Required Qualifications, Education, Skills & Years of Experience:

    • 7-10 years’ experience working in staffing agency business development with 3-4 years focused on IT/telecommunications industry and on developing business with IT/telecom companies.
    • Reliable transportation for travel to and from regional based client sites
    • Bachelor degree in related field of communication, marketing, etc.
    • Proven track record of breaking into accounts and of developing profitable business relationships.
    • Marketplace knowledge and experience selling IT/telecom staffing services to companies on the West Coast, specifically in CA, the San Diego area, and in WA, the Seattle area.  
    • Proficient in identifying target accounts and in ability to set meetings and to “penetrate" an account for gaining knowledge and for selling recruiting services across the organization.
    • Self-motivated, self-starter who is goal oriented and is able to work independently.
    • Ability to multi-task and to prioritize business based on client needs, urgency and profitability.
    • Mentorship/leaderships skills with ability to work with/lead recruiters.
    • Solid understanding of IT/telecom staffing and industries.
    • Strong time management, organizational and communication skills.
    • Team player, someone flexible and able to work on a team and independently as needed.
