Speech Language Pathologist Position(s)

Multiple positions available! Early Intervention, Elementary, Middle School and High School caseloads currently available!

Location: Omaha, NE
Hours per week:  40 hours per week; full-time benefits.
Shift:  Days 7:30a.m. - 4:30p.m.
Compensaton: $50,000-$65,000 per year
Bonus: up to $3,500
Position: Pediatrics (PreK-12th grade) SLP assignments in a school setting.

Job Description
CATEGORY: Speech Language Pathology / Speech Language Pathologist 


Provides SpeechTherapy services to patients in a school setting. Assists in the assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Functions under supervision of the Specical Education Director designated by the client facility.

Job Requirements Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required.

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology preferred.
Certificate of Clinicial Competency (CCCs) preferred.
New Grads and CFY candidates are welcome to apply.

 


Physical Requirements:

The employee must possess physical capacities in an amount equal to the physical demands made by the job. Very Hard Work: in excess of 75 lbs of force occasionally and or in excess of 50 lbs of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects. Continuous bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, standing, walking, pulling/pushing, lifting, repetitive motions, finger dexterity and talking.


Other Requirements:

Must be able to assess anatomical structures of the disabled part of the body and formulate remedial action plans.

Must be able to keep accurate records of the patient's treatment, reactions and assessment of progress

Must possess the ability to coordinate patient care assignments to ensure continuity appropriate level of care, and maximum utilization of clinical/license supportive personnel.

Must hold current CPR certification or ability to obtain it within 3 months.
