Job Description Human Resources Benefits Administrator


HR Benefits Administrator

Experienced Benefits Administrator needed to work 24-32 hours per week in Palatine.

Will manage the Company's benefit plans, including all related communication and administrative processes, and provide guidance, support and assistance to managers and employees on benefit related matters.



Manage the administration of the Company's group medical, dental, life, and long-and short-term disability insurance plans, voluntary life and disability plans, flexible spending accounts and 401 (K) plan.

Develop, implement and maintain effective, streamlined, user-friendly processes and procedures for managing the flow of benefit forms, documents and information between the Support Center Benefits function and 120 branches to minimize their administrative burden. Establish centralized processes and direct communication links to encourage employees and managers reliance of the Support Center Benefits function for information and support.



Coordinate the medical and dental insurance annual renewal and open enrollment process and ensure the timely and effective implementation and communication of new premiums and employee contributions.

Coordinate and participate in the review of benefit plan provider enrollment reports and monthly billing statements to ensure their accuracy, and follow up to correct any discrepancies.

Coordinate the administration of Family and Medical Leave of Absence (FMLA's) Make sure forms are prepared and processed in an accurate and timely manner.

  
                REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field of study
  • Three to five years BENEFITS Administration Experience
  • SOLID knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, HIPPA and other federal regulations regarding benefit plans
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of HRIS/payroll systems
  • Results driven, energetic, analytical and detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency
