CORT, a national company providing residential and office furniture rental, has an immediate opening for a Delivery Driver at our Norwood, MA location: The Delivery Driver responsibilities include:
- Supervision of one or more delivery assistants - Inventory management - Quality assurance of merchandise - Accurately completing daily paperwork - Controlling the loading, unloading and delivery of residential and office furniture to our customers - Providing EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE to our customers and fellow employees - Other duties as assigned to including Warehouse duties.
Delivery Driver Requirements include:
- GREAT ATTITUDE - Must have good customer service track record - Previous furniture and/or delivery experience is a plus. - High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 21 years old - Valid Class D or better driver’s license and good driving record for past 3 years - Minimum of six months-related experiences driving a 24-foot straight truck
- Work in a manner that is safe for self, co-workers, customers, and product - Ability to regularly lift and move up to 100 pounds; occasionally over 100 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs while carrying furniture
