Job Description

Controller/CFO - this position will be located in SW Nebraska - location TBD

To oversee all aspects of the internal accounting, company information systems, financial statements, assist with budgeting, financial analysis and related party accounting for the company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • A/R and A/P
  • General Ledger
  • Fixed Assets
  • Inventory
  • Prepare and review all financial assuring timeliness and accuracy of information
  • Present financials and report on deviations from budget
  • Responsible for patronage, and all areas of tax compliance/reporting
  • Manage relationships with external auditors on year-end audits.
  • Oversee financial inflow and outflow of capital as it relates to our financial institutions
  • Leads finance initiatives and programs that improve the operations efficiency and effectiveness
  • Report monthly banking compliance documents
  • Work with management when negotiating bank credit facilities
  • Review and assist management in negotiating insurance coverage
  • Evaluate business opportunities.
  • Liquidation of assets
  • Feasibility studies
  • Recommend changes in office practices or procedures.
    • Job Requirements

    Required Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CMA, or CPA preferred.
    • 6-10 years related experience.
    • Strong computer and technology skills
