GENERAL FUNCTION:
Trains and supervises maintenance workers. Competent to fully perform all duties of a Maintenance Worker, strong electrical skills. Monitors the efficiency of maintenance repairs. Orders replacement parts and organizes daily work load and identify priorities.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Set work priorities.
Maintain logs and equipment records.
Repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, electronic and pneumatic equipment including determining cause of operating problems, consulting schematics and manuals and ordering replacement parts.
Research and order necessary parts for all maintenance and repairs necessary.
Oversees installations, repairs, and maintenance of employees.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Able to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical repairs. Require organizational skills and ability to communicate with all levels of employees and management. Predictable and regular attendance required.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
Experience at a minimum of three years in equipment repairs in a manufacturing environment.
