Job Description Process Safety Specialist: requires excellent background in process safety management (PSM), leading process hazard analysis (PHA), leading incident investigations/root cause analysis, understanding of human factors (and human error prevention) and behavior-based errors are a must. Responsible for developing and implementing the process safety management program elements and hazard assessments. Training and educating employees on OSHA requirements. Keeping employees informed of the findings from incident investigations required by the process safety management program. Familiar with the Center for Chemical Process Safety guidelines.

Job RequirementsPSM Specialist requires 5 plus years experience administering a PSM program within a hazardous working environment specifically the chemical process industry. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety or industrial management is required.
