Job Description JOB SUMMARY:

 

The New Associate Orientation Trainer's primary responsibility is to implement a 4-day orientation session for Loaf ‘N Jug new hires. The orientation agenda and curriculum are established.

 

This is an hourly position. When training, the total hours are 30 for the 4-day session. Additional hours are available working in a store.  

 

Job RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:

1.   Prefer experience as a Loaf ‘N Jug assistant manager.

2.   Ability to train 4-day session:

  • Weekly sessions Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
3.   Highly dependable to ensure all classes are implemented.

4.   Accurately and objectively evaluate each participant.

5.   Public speaking ability.

6.   Knowledge of store operations and company policies and procedures.

7.   Ability to positively interact with new hires.

8.   Must consistently demonstrate in all behaviors Kroger Values of respect, integrity, inclusion, honesty, safety, and diversity.

9.   Must consistently and positively demonstrate Loaf ‘N Jug’s standards of customer service, safety, and operational policies while training and while working in the store.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Lifting of training equipment up to 50 pounds. 
 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Trainer will need to show up at training center for the first day of each session even if there are no registrations in case a last-minute new hire shows up. Please note that classes do not always make. In the event that there are no new hires, the trainer can work for the district advisor or work in a store. There is a possibility, however, that work may not be available due to labor scheduling tool used by stores.
