The CEO/Executive Director position for Big Brothers Big Sisters of SW Idaho is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned and energetic leader to continue to build the momentum, growth and impact of Big Brothers Big Sisters in the Treasure Valley.
For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs") and children (“Littles"), ages 6 through 17, in communities across the country, serving more than a quarter-million children each year. The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Our programs are research based and have demonstrated measurable success in helping children improve school performance while avoiding alcohol, drugs and violence.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in previous leadership positions and have core competencies in fundraising, board and donor development, and all areas of business operations. Five or more years of executive-level leadership, experience in public speaking, media interaction and grant writing are desired. This individual must demonstrate the core values of integrity, transparency, accountability, respect and responsibility. A Bachelors degree is required.
