Job Description

Registered Nurse - RN - Emergency Room , Med / Surg , Telemetry or ICU

Do you want to challenge yourself professionally and you already have Med / Surg , Telemetry, ICU or ED nursing experience?

Do you want to treat a diverse population but in a less stressful environment?

Or do you have a few years of experience as a Med / Surg Telemetry, ICU or ER nurse and want to learn more? A local hospital has a couple of Permanent full time and part time Nursing openings within a few units in their hospital including: Med/surg, ER, ICU and Telemetry.

They are training the nurses progressive techniques and explaining why and how to do things. The Departments have all new equipment and have a wonderful flow that allows the nurses to get their patients easily. The Departments have a supportive Educator, Assistant Manager and Manager that all are there to explain anything you may have questions on. They have a wonderful and creative orientation program for at least three months whether you are experienced or need to learn more. You are able to work 12hrs or 8hr shifts or a combination of both. The hospital is a huge proponent on education. So they offer tons of in-services to keep you up on progressing your clinical skills as well as offer tuition reimbursement. There is a CLINICAL Ladder where if you already have experience in TELEMETRY, ICU or ED you may be able to start at a HIGHER PAY compared to the rest of the area. Job RequirementsRequirements: -Valid PA RN license or immediate eligibility for a Pennsylvania RN license -At least 2 years of experience as a staff Nurse in an acute care hospital -ACLS , BLS , PALS certifications required -CPR certified -excellent work ethic and team player
