Job Description  Wanted:  Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

 

For over 100 years, the Kellogg Company has enriched and delighted the world through foods and brands that matter. The Kellogg Louisville Bakery has an immediate opening within our Maintenance Department for a 2nd shift Electrical Maintenance Technician (EMT). 

 

  • Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have the ability to use technical drawings, schematics and manuals to troubleshoot and repair complex process and equipment (e.g., blowers, packaging machines, scales, conveyors, ovens, compressors, etc.) to maintain equipment in “Like New" condition.
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance procedures preferred.
    • Job Requirements

    The desired candidates will:

    • Have 3-5 Years maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
    • Be responsible for installation, maintenance and improvement of physical assets by performing preventive maintenance, repairing, overhauling, rebuilding, and dismantling all types of complex manufacturing and support equipment.
    • Be quality-conscious, self-directed, motivated team players, and willing learners-eager to gain and share new knowledge.
    • Have the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Be required to log all work performed, parts usage, and machine history information into a computerized maintenance management system.
