Votion is a local marketing firm focused on expanding our clients' brand exposure throughout the Portland-metro area. Our company specializes in tailoring campaigns directly to clients' needs and brand image through direct marketing, promotional events, and community outreach. At Votion we take a personal approach to marketing by meeting directly with potential and current customers to fully engage them with the client's brand. Our approach has created exponential growth this past year, so now we are looking to expand our teams in order to take on new clients and campaigns.
Votion is currently looking for an Account Manager to be trained in our Marketing Department. The Account Manager Trainee serves as a liaison for communications between Votion and a designated client. This individual understands that profitability enables our firm to share the benefits of many local brands' products & services, which help keep the economy thriving in their own community. The trainee will support our Office Manager and will work closely with other teams to help mentor and develop other team members while managing the success of client initiatives at each territory and reporting team progress.
--Partner with other teams to deliver compelling programs that build brands and drive client sales
--Work closely with other Managers to develop go-to strategies for existing and new client products and services
--Assist in support of client accounts in order to establish proper channels of information and communication.
--Create a supportive team-building environment
--Responsible for management of marketing team of 3-5 people, team campaign execution, and success measurements.
--Provided detailed feedback to team members and assist members with projects to ensure campaign success.
**Note this position is not in door-to-door, business-to-business, telemarketing, or any form of digital marketing.
This is an entry-level position with full training provided. Applicants must be willing to grow and learn from the ground up, as Votion only promotes from within.
Desired skills and backgrounds:
--1-3 years experience in customer service, business, sales, or related field
--Strategic problem solving skills
--Excellent communication and listening skills
--Able to work effectively as a team and independently
--Excellent presentation skills and the ability to "think on your feet"
--Proven leadership / management skills
