Functioning as brand champion for Comfort Suites, this talented DIRECTOR, BRAND STRATEGY will partner with our Senior Director to ensure competitive value to franchisees and consumers alike.  Driven to optimize brand segmentation, guest satisfaction, unit growth and revenue performance, this detail-oriented project manager will keep abreast of industry trends, assess performance and identify opportunities to achieve brand goals.


Analyzing the direction and growth of the business, this skilled communicator will also make the case and secure internal/external support for implementing key brand initiatives.  Responsibilities involve managing cross-function teams and interacting with a variety of departments (i.e., Brand Programs, Compliance, Advertising and Marketing Communications, Franchise Management, etc.) to develop and advance key brand strategies.


To qualify, you must possess impressive negotiating skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams in addition to:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field; MBA required

  • Minimum 6 years experience in brand or product management, marketing, consulting or other relevant field

  • Successful track record developing new strategies, building business cases, garnering internal/external support and driving results

  • Excellent communication (verbal, written and listening) skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Outlookk, Word, PowerPoint & Excel

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

  • Background in a hospitality or franchise organization preferred
