Job Description

Internal Auditor

R.J. Corman Railroad Group seeks an Internal Auditor to develop and execute policies, programs and procedures to conduct audits for management designed to assess effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations. Conduct audits for compliance with company policies and procedures concerning financial, accounting, purchasing, company credit cards and employee expense/ reimbursement transaction activities. Assuring consistency of reporting and disclosure with actual incurred transactions. Tests the reliability of financial and transaction data from which management decisions and reports are generated. The Internal Auditor also performs a combination of professional and high-level administrative work in one or more of the various accounting specialties, applying the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of accounting.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidate must have a four year accounting degree and a minimum of two years experience as a corporate internal auditor.
