Job Description We are looking for a Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrator will work with all aspects of the IT infrastructure including network, servers, security and data management, with a strong focus on availability, performance, security, stability and scalability. This includes the design, implementation, configuration, coordination, and maintenance of IT systems and related services. (Primarily web and database servers, and related systems) Uptime is critical, so we need strong processes and planning. CAB will be employed for all changes.

We have a company with a good culture and about 120 staff.

Job Requirements

Associates in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Strong experience with Linux Ubuntu / LAMP stack.
Strong experience with MySQL
Some experience with VOIP systems.
Knowledge of installations, upgrades and troubleshooting, and maintenance
Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently.
Ability to work independently, from home, with minimum supervision as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
Ability to diagnose routine application problems, provide instructions to users on resolutions, and accurately document status of work on intranet website or through ticketing system.
Customer oriented.
Ability to learn quickly and follow established procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data, passwords, and access controls.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness and aptitude to learn and support new systems and applications.
Excellent time management skills and ability to establish priorities.
Comfortable in fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
