Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibility for the Plant’s Quality Assurance program and its employees who work in the QA Dept. Will report to the Plant Manager and work directly with the Director of Food Technology to help lead the company’s compliance for food safety, quality and customer expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Must have the ability to interpret and implement regulatory rulings

  • Job Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific field
    • 7+ years experience in a management or supervisory role, at least five years experience in a food manufacturing / dairy environment, preferably with SQF experience.
    • A combination of education and training will be considered in lieu of work experience
    • Excellent technical knowledge of cheese and cultured dairy manufacturing is essential, along with a strong working knowledge of microbiology and food science
    • A proven ability with achieving excellent in customer satisfaction, process and product quality, and reliability
    • Must be motivated to learn all facets of lab facility, and will be expected to take on expanded responsibilities over time.
