Job Description This is an integral position within our client's accounting department. This position works closely with the Accounting Manager and Corporate Controller in addition to the external auditing firm. Accuracy and attention to details and deadlines is essential to ensure all analysis of financial statements is in compliance with GAAP. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Participate in month end close and subsequent analysis, subsidiary consolidations and reporting • Perform general ledger accounting tasks such as recording reoccurring journal entries and generating journal entries for standard accruals • Assist with general and management accruals • Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations • Assist with annual audit preparation with external auditors • Other duties may be assigned

Job RequirementsApplicants to the position of Senior Accountant will offer: • Bachelors of Science in Finance or Accountancy or equivalent business experience. • Minimum of 5 to 6 years related business experience with an solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures and US GAAP. • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to problem solve and implement solutions. • Ability to handle confidential information. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Public accounting experience company a plus.
