Assistant Director Counseling
South Dakota State University

The Assistant Director for Counseling will serve as the head of Student Counseling
Services within the Wellness Center. This position supervises graduate assistant
and graduate intern students, a part time counselor, and four full time counselors.
The Assistant Director must reside within thirty minutes of the SDSU campus within
the fi rst six months of their appointment. Minimum qualifi cations include a Master’s
degree required in a related field, more than fi ve years full-time related experience,
and be a Licensed Professional Counselor.
