Job Description Lewis Drug is seeking ambitious, dependable, customer-service focused individuals to join our dynamic team in Madison, SD as a Floor Manager.  

The Floor Manager helps create a welcoming and friendly environment for employees and guests in our store.  The Floor Manager actively participates with Store Management in the daily operation of the store including scheduling, staffing, training and directing associates' work.  The Floor Manager is responsible for a specific area or department in the store, displaying, ordering, stocking and signing merchandise in accordance with Corporate initiatives.  In addition to his/her own department, the Floor Manager must develop competency in other store areas including Camera/Video, Pharmacy, Customer Service and Postal services to provide guest assistance as needed.  The Floor Manager is often called upon to assist during peak busy periods or challenging situations and must be able to diffuse potential conflict with tact, diplomacy, confidentiality and professionalism.  The Floor Manager will also manage the Store in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.

Job RequirementsQualified candidates must have a minimum of six months previous retail experience and strong interpersonal skills with both employees and guests.  Candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check and post-offer drug screen.  The Floor Manager must be available for a varied schedule including days, evenings and weekend shifts to best support the needs of our guests.
