Job Description We are currently seeking Guest Service Specialists for our location in Omaha, Nebraska.

Objective: To provide a rewarding and full-service experience for every guest in our salon & spa. The overall MISSION of this position is to support the service providers, the management team and the salon business by offering opportunities & services to our guest that will grow the salon revenue.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Partner with the management team to develop the salon professionals while increasing salon revenue. The main objective is to fill the holes in the salon schedule with appointments.
• GREETING – Ensure that every guest receives an enthusiastic, friendly, helpful and warm welcome. Ensure that the guest is scheduled with an appointment each and every time; this is to include phone-in and walk-in guests. Ensure the cleanliness and work readiness of the salon desk, offer a Spa Tour to all new customers, offer a beverage, magazine and proper draping for the service to be provided to every customer.
• CONSULTATION – Assist the client with all necessary client forms to be filled out.
• POST SERVICE – Ensure that there is follow-up to the service through the sending of postcards by the salon professionals, making sure all clients are re-booking the next service and handling any customer conflicts or issues as they arise.

2. Coordination of Salon desk:
• Maintain and complete the Salon & Spa Pathway to Success Binder each and every day.

3. Work with Salon Professionals to:
• Challenge salon professionals to work guests in by staying late or coming in early to accommodate our guests.
• Ensure completion of assigned daily salon maintenance duties.
• Assist the management team with implementing and following up with Pathway to Success.

4. Other Responsibilities for the Guest Service Specialists:
• Complete a Daily Plan of Action to fill all holes in the salon schedule.
• Partner with the Management team to develop the salon professionals.
• Make confirmation calls daily & suggest additional services.
• Conduct follow-up phone calls & suggest rebooking appointments if guest has not done so.
• Handle customer issues as they arise to ensure guests are 100% satisfied with all services.
• Keep salon professional on track and on time with all guests; keep the flow of the salon moving smoothly.
• Do everything possible to schedule appointments for walk-in & call in guests that request an appointment on the same day.

5. Work with Location Manager to meet/exceed production standards:
• Supervise scheduling of clients within the salon to ensure maximum productivity to meet salon sales goals.

6. Accuracy of end-of-day procedures for salon:
• Verify salon professional totals, checking out salon professionals closing duties.


Job RequirementsPrerequisites:
• Minimum of one year in the salon industry
• Strong administrative skills & communication skills
• Prior sales experience
• Leadership qualities
• Proficient on computer (including e-mail).
