Job Description Overview Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday Job Skills/Requirements The Retail Loan Documentation Specialist I is responsible for administrative, technical and professional work within the bank operations function. This position is responsible for retail loan documentation, process administration, communication and leadership. ----- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -Retail Loan Documentation-Review the loan document preparation queue and prioritize daily loan processing; prepare loan documents that reflect approved loan terms and collateral positions; apply current regulations and guidelines to retail loan processes and products; identify issues within loan documents and make corrections; ensure lien perfection as required by loan approvals; resolve issues noted on exception reporting; monitor flood compliance tracking and request necessary documents as needed; assist with regulatory research -Process Administration- Document standard operating procedures to ensure consistency in processes; review current processes for efficiency and effectiveness on an ongoing basis; collaborate across departments to seek process improvements; update procedures as needed; offer recommendations to managers regarding necessary procedure improvements -Communication-Interact with Emprise associates, customers, other banks and vendors relative to areas of concern involving commercial loan documentation; escalate issues as needed -Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job
