Job Description

Our client, a New Jersey based, staffing services organization, provides the highest quality staffing services and has built trusted business partnerships through their innovativeness, agility and commitment to success. They are currently seeking a Technical Recruiter to joint their Recruiting team in their Glen Rock, NJ office.

Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals. Ultimately, and most critically, you will build a strong talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our client positions.

Duties:

  • Source potential candidates utilizing niche platforms like LinkedIn, Dice.com, Indeed, etc.
  • Identify, screen, interview, qualify and evaluate candidates abilities and quality of fit for the position and company
  • Coordinate with Account Managers and IT Team Leader to foster strong effective communication and forecast goals and hiring needs
  • Post and at times create detailed job descriptions
  • Review and understand technical job requirement requirements
  • Review, reformat and present resumes to Sales / Account Managers or VP, Staffing that meet client expectations
  • Foster long-term relationships with candidates
  • Follow up, follow up and follow up with your talent pipeline
  • Keep up-to-date with new technology trends
  • Promote company's reputation as a great place to work

  • Job Requirements


    • Ability to build strong relationships
    • Ability to learn technical information to be able to converse
    • Self-confidence and self-starter
    • MS Office Suite for proofreading, editing and formatting resumes and organization
    • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases
    • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques (social media recruiting, Boolean search, etc.)
    • Good written and verbal communication skills

    The end result needs to be the presentation of employable and qualified candidates for technical positions in various industries and for job roles such as Business Analyst, Application Developers and Architects, Systems Administrators, Database and Network, Testing, Project Management, Business Process, etc.
