Master Scheduler Responsibilities

Lead production planning team

Develop and execute the master production schedule

Short term and long term capacity analyses

Managing production delays and/or exceptions

Communicating customer demand changes and production delays to Customer Service

Initiating meetings with production supervisors, employees, vendors or customers

Communicate with other individuals within the materials group

Make critical business decisions that impact ATF’s profitability

Perform other duties that may be assigned through continuous improvement activities

Knowledge and Skills Required

Excellent listening skills, flexibility in one’s thought process and the willingness to learn and understand the production process is critical in this position.

Demonstrated ability to think and communicate in a clear and concise manner

Independent time management

Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel

Understands quantitative and qualitative forecasting models, EPQ and EOQ’s

Strong project management, organizational and analytical skills

Willingness to work in a high energy, fast paced environment where change is the norm

Proven ability to promote and demonstrate servant leadership

Promoter of continuous improvement

  • Job RequirementsEducation/Experience Requirements

      Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

      Minimum five (5) years of experience in production planning/scheduling within a manufacturing environment

      Experience scheduling production at satellite facilities

      Experience using ATF’s Solarsoft (CMS) ERP system or other manufacturing system

      Advanced understanding of MRP and lean concepts

    • APICS certification is preferred
