Job Description

NAFI, CT is seeking a Shift Supervisor for a 8 bed, staff-secure, residential treatment program for adolescent girls ages 18 and younger.  The MDFT Girls Intermediate Residential Program utilizes the Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy Model as well as the Tri Model (Behavioral Motivation Program).  The Shift Supervisor is responsible for developing and coordinating the monthly staff schedule and work assignments for direct care staff, providing feedback regarding on-going treatment plan development and implementation with the clinical team, staff training, oversight of daily program schedule, upkeep of overall physical plant and notification to appropriate parties for repairs, oversight of program operations, environment and culture while taking the lead in strengthening or revising program norms, ongoing support, guidance and role modeling for youth and staff, recognition of early signs of crisis and necessary mediation, crisis de-escalation, physical interventions if necessary, ensure effective implementation and auditing of behavior motivation program, maintain highly effective relationships with families, stakeholders and funding source, ensure appropriate documentation and reporting of all shift activity including incidents and provide direct supervision and guidance to direct care staff.  EOE

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and/or at least two years of experience in a residential treatment setting.  Supervisory and management experience preferred.
