Job Description
HR Clerk Part time Contribute to the success of the Human Resources department through clerical support. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Use appropriate computer programs to create and type business forms and correspondence. 2. Compile and distribute head count reports as required. 3. Process Address Changes. 4. Maintain Emergency Contact lists and distribution. 5. Holiday ornament and card distribution. 6. Maintain new and current Motor Vehicle Reports as required. 7. Order supplies for HR Department. 8. Maintenance of organization chart and seating chart. 9. Sort, file and maintain personnel records filing. 10. Scan documents for archival purposes for compliance and/or reference. 11. Post and maintain information on bulletin boards. 12. Prepare employee awards and post announcements. 13. Prepare turndown letters for applicants. 14. Assemble and maintain new-hire orientation packets. 15. Maintain file copies for 401k auditors. 16. Event planning including Service Awards Banquet, chairman lunches with employees, blood drives, etc. 17. Run business errands. 18. Sort HR mail. 19. Responsible for coordination with supervisors of ISO-related training files and training matrices. 20. Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively. 21. Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company. 22. Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards. 23. Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner. 24. Punctual, regular and consistent attendance. 25. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
HR Clerk Part time Physical and Technical Environment • Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally. • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment. • Ability to routinely travel throughout multi-floor office and shop area, walking, climbing stairs, utilizing elevator. • Clean and orderly manufacturing environment and/or normal office conditions, changing deadlines and project requirements, strict time constraints. Required Experience • One to three years experience as a secretary or administrative assistant. Human Resources experience is a plus. • Proficient in MS Office products. • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain a high level of confidentiality. • Ability to interact with all levels of employees. Required Education High school diploma or equivalent. Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.
