Senior C#/.NET Developer
The Senior Developer is a lead programming role responsible for the design and development of a consumer-facing, mission-critical web application with a focus on performance and scalability.
Main Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Design and develop for front and back end Web Applications and Windows Services.
• Provide technical guidance, support and help to IT Developers
• Meet with key user groups to gather business requirements
• Propose technical solutions to business problems on a proactive basis
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of development and IT architecture and design experience
• Experience with creating applications using technologies such as: (.NET Framework v4.0 MVC, C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, XML, SQL Server 2008, Silverlight, Windows Workflow)
• Experience with ASP.Net AJAX, CSS, Javascript, and layouts and Web 2.0 UI behaviors is a definite plus.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in developing large scale, high-performance web applications using .NET technologies with emphasis on the Entity Framework and backend SQL Server development.
Key Skills:
• N-Tier Architecture, solid understanding and experience in the different layers.
• Experience in enterprise-level ASP.NET applications in a web farm environment.
• Windows Services, Windows Workflow and/or Silverlight a BIG plus.
• RESTful web service development.
• SQL Profiling and Tuning.
• Good object oriented design/methodology.
• Focus on performance/best practices.
