Job Description

Our Social Channel AdParlor, a division of Adknowledge, is the global leader that operates a platform to manage large Facebook advertising campaigns incredibly efficiently. We offer a full-service managed solution as well as a self-service (Pulse) solution for buying Facebook (right-hand-column) ads for the majority of the large spenders on the platform. We work with all kinds of advertisers – including large brands & agencies, social gaming companies, and local deal sites. However, at present, the majority of revenue comes from games publishers and from Groupon’s global account.

  POSITION OVERVIEW The Account Executive’s primary responsibility is to drive revenue from direct response advertisers, brand advertisers and interactive agencies from Adknowledge’s Social Network.   The Senior Account Executive's core duties:
  1. Prospecting:  This “hunter" position involves prospecting the top 1,000 brands, social network advertisers and their respective agencies, closing new business and achieving revenue objectives.  
  2. Contracts/Negotiation:   Coordinates the preparation, documentation and presentation of sales packages, RFP’s, presentations, and analysis.
  3. Achieving Revenue Objectives:  Sell Adknowledge’s Social Network to specific prospects, and, when necessary, provide assistance to Adknowledge’s Inside Sales team cross-sell their prospects and customers in.
Additional duties include:
  • Utilize and update salesforce.com (contact management tool) for daily activities
  • Prepare sales reports for Sales Manager.
  • Representing Adknowledge at Marketing expos, and other duties that may be required
  • Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will have:
    • Industry experience in online and brand marketing sales, with a deep knowledge of social advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
    • At least (2) two years experience in selling online advertising in the Social Media marketplace to online advertisers and/or agencies.
    • Sharp commercial acumen, capable of thinking through various possible business models and pricing options
    • Successful track record of building revenue and closing deals from scratch
    • Proven leader and communicator, with strong influencing skills
    • Competent in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com
