Heart 'n Home Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for a Medical Director to work out of Meridian, ID office.

  • Possession of a current license to practice as a Physician in Idaho 
  • At least 2 years working as a Physician in Family Practice or other Medical fields. 
  • Must have an understanding of the importance of symptom management and pain control for patients at end of life. 
  • Must maintain a current driver's license. 
  • Criminal history clearance


Responsibilities as Medical Director:
  1. Consistently demonstrate the Family Core Values that affirm life in all aspects of job functions. Adherence to the Standards of Behavior.
  2. Certify and Re-certify each and every hospice patient.
  3. Oversee and attend Interdisciplinary Team meetings.
  4. Be available for consultation with RN’s on Patient concerns.
  5. Write orders for Primary Physicians when they are not available.
  6. Attend training in End-of-life issues when time allows or when resources are available.
  7. Be willing to educate our hospice philosophy in your community.
